Home Heath Aide duties include, but are not limited to:
Visit
A visit rate is available for those times when a two hour minimum shift is not needed.
Companion
Aides are trained to maintain a safe environment, provide social interaction, read to the client, and provide meaningful interaction.
Custodial
Aides are trained to cover all tasks of a companion, as well as the following:
▪ Light Housekeeping ▪Ambulation ▪ Meal Preparation ▪Personal Hygiene ▪ Laundry ▪Oxygen Therapy ▪ Transfer assistance ▪Monitor Vital Signs ▪ Repositioning ▪Blood Sugar ▪ Weight Management ▪Intake/Output ▪ Range of Motion ▪Maintenance
High Tech
High Tech Aides are specifically trained to provide all of the services mentioned above, as well as the following
- Ostomy Care
- Catheter Care
- Tracheotomy Care
- Bowel Programs
- Ventilator
- Non-Sterile Dressing Change
High tech visits are typically 30-60 minutes in length
Transportation
Transportation is available to and from medical and personal appointments such as:
- Physician
- Beauty Shop
- Bank/Post Office
- Pharmacy/Grocery shopping
- Church Activities/Bingo/Movies
